Devlog 03 - World Building - City Exteriors

A World Crafted in Detail

Our goal has always been to create an immersive and believable environment that not only challenges players but also tells a story through its setting. To achieve this, we've developed an extensive range of 3D models, including vehicles, traffic signs, architectural elements, and other outdoor scenery. Each model has been crafted with meticulous attention to detail to ensure they contribute to the chilling atmosphere of our game.

Vehicles with a Story

The vehicles aren't just mere props; they tell the history of the world we've built. Abandoned cars, and rusty trucks litter the streets, suggesting a sudden calamity. Each vehicle has been designed to fit seamlessly into the game's narrative, offering clues and sometimes resources to aid players on their journey.

Architectural Elements

From crumbling facades to once-grand structures now in ruins, the architectural elements within our game serve as a stark reminder of what once was. Exploring these remnants will not only be crucial for survival but will also provide players with a deeper understanding of the game's backstory.

A Seamless Outdoor Experience

Creating an outdoor environment that feels expansive yet detailed has been one of our biggest challenges. We've gone to great lengths to ensure that the transition between indoor and outdoor settings is seamless, offering players a consistent and engaging gameplay experience. Our outdoor levels are designed to be both beautiful and haunting, filled with secrets waiting to be discovered.

Gallery

To give you a taste of what's to come, we're excited to share a gallery of images showcasing some of the 3D models that will populate the game's world. From the eerie silence of abandoned streets to the shadowy corners where danger lurks, these images provide a glimpse into the atmospheric setting we're creating.
